Sandra Arrivillaga Montenegro is an experienced nonprofit administrator and community leader with more than 30 years of service across the nonprofit, public, and private sectors. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in accounting, administration, organizational leadership, and community-based programming.

Sandra has dedicated much of her career to strengthening organizations that serve underserved communities. She worked alongside a team of volunteers to develop a nonprofit organization providing medical and mental health services to communities throughout Greater Los Angeles, helping establish programs designed to connect individuals and families with essential care and resources.

As an administrator and executive director for three organizations, Sandra oversaw the day-to-day operations and long-term sustainability of a community health clinic, an outpatient drug and alcohol program, and a transitional housing program. Her leadership responsibilities have included staff supervision and development, strategic planning, fundraising and special events, public relations, financial administration, and organizational operations.

In 1995, through Healthy Start funding, Sandra developed a community coordinating council in Wilmington, California, bringing together services and resources for local students and families. The initiative integrated family advocacy, mentoring, and tobacco prevention programs across five elementary schools and one high school, strengthening connections between schools, families, and community organizations.

Across more than three decades of service, Sandra has remained committed to building sustainable organizations and programs that respond directly to the needs of their communities. Her work reflects a longstanding dedication to thoughtful administration, collaboration, and expanding access to resources that help individuals and families thrive.

Sandra is also the mother of three sons and a proud grandmother. She resides in Perris, California, with her husband, Felmar Montenegro.
