Course Description: Mariachi Campana de Riverside (MCR) is RAA’s flagship Mariachi ensemble, comprised of some of the most accomplished young musicians in the Inland Empire and one of the highest-ranked mariachi programs in California.

MCR is open only to advanced student musicians in grades 6th through 12th with at least 2 years of Mariachi experience.

Students perform a diverse range of repertoire in many public performances around our region and in other states.

Intermediate musicians who are new to Mariachi should check out our new intermediate Mariachi offering: Mariachi Juvenil de Riverside.

Auditions for MCR will be determined. After filling out the online sign-up form, you will receive instructions on how to reserve an audition time. If you are unable to make an in-person audition, please contact trevino@riversideartsacademy.com for information on how to submit a recorded audition.

If you are not placed in MCR, you will be recommended for another RAA class!

1. Perform the attached excerpt for your instrument (see below).

2. Sing any song of your choice.

  • Financial aid is available! To apply for financial aid, complete the financial aid application and upload the required documents in the enrollment form. To view financial aid eligibility, click here.

  • Cost without financial aid: $1600/school year (payable in one sum or monthly over the school year)

Attendance Policy

  • Attendance to rehearsals is mandatory. Up to 2 rehearsals can be missed per semester, excluding dress rehearsals and concerts. Exceptions may be granted in extenuating circumstances.
