PArtnerships

Every RAA success story—from a student discovering their creative voice to the broader impact of arts education across our region—is made possible through partnership. We work alongside local schools, school districts, county partners, and community organizations to expand access to meaningful, high-quality arts education for young people.

RAA at Alvord

RAA’s partnership with Alvord Unified School District provides mariachi music education designed to complement, strengthen, and grow the district’s existing music programs. Working alongside each school site and the district music coordinator, RAA provides high-quality instruction and ensemble-based learning while supporting the musical opportunities already available to students.

Programming currently serves La Sierra High School, Loma Vista Middle School, Terrace Elementary, Valley View Elementary, and Foothill Elementary. Through this collaborative approach, RAA expands access to culturally rooted music education while helping students build musicianship, confidence, teamwork, and a deeper connection to their school and community.

RAA at MORENO VALLEY

In partnership with Moreno Valley Unified School District, RAA provides Mariachi and strings support at Palm Middle School, Badger Springs Middle School, Vista Heights Middle School, and Sunnymead Middle School. Through hands-on instruction and ensemble-based learning, students strengthen their musicianship, build confidence, and experience the joy of making music together.

This partnership expands access to high-quality music education while supporting each school’s existing music program and helping students develop skills and a lasting connection to music.

RAA at VAL VERDE

RAA partners with Val Verde Unified School District at Citrus Hill High School to expand and strengthen the school’s music program. Through the introduction of Mariachi and additional support for strings, guitar, and vocal music, the partnership creates new opportunities for students to explore different musical traditions, develop their talents, and find a place within the school’s growing music community.

By building on the school’s existing programs and broadening the range of musical experiences available, RAA and Val Verde USD are creating more pathways for students to learn, perform, and connect through music.

RAA at PERRIS UNION

From first notes to the high school stage, students at Pinacate Middle School and Perris High School are building their musical skills through expanded opportunities to create, rehearse, and perform. RAA works alongside district music educators to bring additional instruction, resources, and creative experiences into the classroom—giving students more ways to deepen their musicianship and stay engaged in music as they move from middle to high school.

Together, we’re helping create a strong musical pathway where students can grow, collaborate, and see what’s possible through the arts.

RAA at DESERT SANDS

RAA is extending its reach into a new region through our partnership with Desert Sands Unified School District at Desert Ridge Academy. As our first school partnership beyond the greater Inland Empire area, this collaboration marks an exciting milestone in RAA’s growth and our commitment to bringing high-quality arts education to more communities across Southern California.

Our work at Desert Ridge Academy opens the door to new relationships in the desert community while carrying forward what is at the heart of RAA: creating meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, connect, and find their voice through the arts.
