Angel Chavez is a mariachi educator and multi-instrumentalist from Las Vegas, Nevada. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), bringing together over a decade of mariachi performance experience with a strong foundation in music pedagogy.

During his time at UTRGV, Luis Angel was a long-standing member of Mariachi Aztlán, with whom he toured nationally and shared the stage with celebrated artists including Aida Cuevas, Pedro Fernández, Paquita la del Barrio, and Ramón Ayala.

Currently, he performs as a member of Mariachi Internacional de México de Francisco Jara, continuing to expand his professional artistry while dedicating himself to teaching and inspiring the next generation of mariachi musicians.
