Ernesto Herrera Miranda is a dynamic and versatile musical leader with an impressive international career as a soloist, composer, arranger, and conductor. Since arriving in the United States in 2019, he has collaborated with acclaimed ensembles including the BYU Singers, Sierra Linda Master Chorale, La Sierra University Chamber Singers, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, and the Los Angeles Master Chorale, showcasing his artistry and ability to inspire musicians of all levels.

Ernesto earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from La Sierra University, where he received the Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award, and a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from California Baptist University, where he was honored as Outstanding Graduate Student. Dedicated to lifelong learning, he also completed training through the Teaching Artist Training Institute (TATI). For the past two years, he has served as a Teaching Artist at Riverside Arts Academy (RAA), inspiring young musicians throughout the community.

Internationally recognized as a composer, Ernesto has received awards in Mexico and Cuba, and spent twelve years performing with the professional Cuban choir Sine Nomine, touring extensively across Mexico, Ecuador, the United States, and Colombia.

Currently, he serves as Director of Music at First Lutheran Church of Redlands, leading with creativity and passion while conducting workshops nationwide with choirs performing his works. His 2023 tour through France, Germany, and the Netherlands, where he performed tenor solos in Mozart’s Requiem, highlights his international acclaim.

Ernesto’s distinguished career reflects his unwavering dedication, artistic excellence, and profound connection to sacred choral music and Latin rhythms, enriching communities across the globe.
