The Riverside Vox Youth Choir is RAA’s advanced vocal ensemble for high school students, designed for singers who are ready to pursue a higher level of musical excellence, vocal development, and ensemble artistry.
Open to students in grades 9th through 12th, this choir provides a focused and inspiring environment where young vocalists can strengthen their technique, musicianship, and confidence as performers.
Students will explore a diverse range of musical styles and genres, with an emphasis on repertoire that allows them to express their traditions, culture, and shared experiences through the art of choral singing.
Through rehearsal, performance, and community engagement, Riverside Vox will help students develop the discipline, sensitivity, and collaborative skills necessary to sing as part of a high-level ensemble while using their voices to make a meaningful impact in the community.
The course will be led by Ernesto Herrera, RAA’s Director of Programs, who is also building a growing career as a choral conductor and composer.
